Western Growers, January 14, 2021: "Western Growers Inaugurates Next Generation of Agricultural Leaders"
/Western Growers announces their next Future Volunteer Leaders (FVL) at the start of the new year with Amber joining their sixth class. This will be the first representative from Colorado for FVL. What makes this sixth class also unique is that 4 of the 9 individuals are women. Western Growers (WG) was established in 1926 to represent local and regional family farms growing fresh produce. While they represent California, Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, their extent reaches across the US and globe with these growers’ reach and the services the association provides. Our family farm has utilized WG’s H2A labor services’ insight, as well as greatly benefited from their advocacy in this realm. Amber looks forward to connecting with her class and the rest of the WG team and members. Check out articles regarding the new FVL class below ~
